Ancient Greek comedic and literary poster for famous playwright Aristophanes and his work The Clouds, which attacked Socrates and may have led to his trial.

Aristophanes was born in Greece around 446 BC. He was a comic playwright of ancient Athens. Plato singled out Aristophanes' play The Clouds as slander that contributed to the trial and subsequent condemning to death of Socrates. Eleven of his thirty plays survive virtually complete.
