Sensual, provocative, and out of reach. Love with barriers and consequences. Lolita was controversial and Vladimir Nabokov brave enough to write it.

Vladimir Nabokov was born in Russia in 1899. He was primarily a novelist. His initial output was mainly in his native tongue, but he eventually rose to fame as a writer of English prose. His best known work is Lolita, a novel which exhibits the highly controversial relationship that arises between a middle-aged professor and a 12 year old girl named Dolores Haze.
