William Wordsworth was born in England in 1770. He is perhaps the most famous member of the English Romantic club, along with Samuel Taylor Coleridge. He helped launch the Romantic Age with the joint publication of "Lyrical Ballads". He was England's Poet Laureate from 1843 until his untimely death in 1850.
